Collection System Cleaning Technician

Position Title: Collection SystemCleaning Technician

Reports to: Collection Systems Coorinator

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hiring Salary Range:

• $65,000 - Entry Level 
• $68,000 - With current CDL or Collection System certification
• $70,000 - With both current CDL and Collection System Certification

Duties and Relationships:

• Reports to the Collection System Coordinator for direction and approval on all aspects of line cleaning and maintenance activities

Skills and Knowledge:

• Preferred: Colorado Wastewater Collecion System Technician IV certification
• Intermediate computer skills, including basic drafting abilities
• Fundamental knowledge of wastewater collection systems function and construction
• Valid "Class B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and a clean, insurable driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting  skills

Personal Competencies: 

• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
